About Snapback Skullcaps

The crochet snapback skullcap blends the sleek fit of a skull cap with the utility of a snapback. The goal is to uplift any outfit, and have a hat for every occasion, even if it means bending the one you already have to get the look.

Row-Z ensures that every hat is extremely sturdy adding to the luxury effect, cause who would want to bend something that breaks or that they feel scared to move? Many of our hats are reversible, adding another layer of versatility onto the large variety of styles available. The trim has a different texture when inverted to the other side, like seen on this instagram post linked.

This is a hat that expresses who you are without you ever saying anything.

Fun facts:

The mohair/silk crochet hat has more moldability on the top of the hat due to the texture of the yarn. It also takes longer to complete, but what's 68 hours+ if you get a fun hat that looks fancy and whimsical all at the same time?

Traits of Mohair: Mohair fibers provide excellent insulation without feeling heavy, resists stretching more than sheep's wool, and are great for winter, but also super breathable during the warmer months.

Traits of Silk: Silk adds a natural sheen, provides incredible temperature regulation similar to mohair. It keeps one cool in the heat and warm in the winter.

How To Wash Hat:

Wash mohair/silk by hand in cool water with a gentle wool wash or shampoo to prevent fiber damage and shrinking. Soak for up to 30 minutes. Never wring or twist the item. Rinse well by running cool water through garment until water is no longer soapy. Gently press water out of item. Lay flat on towel to dry. (Row-Z recommends not squeezing it much, if at all.) Mohair fibers are extremely delicate. Do not put in washing machine. Row-Z has never washed hats in washing machine. Hot water causes mohair to shrink. Do not hang hat, as it will stretch, changing the shape of hat when drying. Avoid fabric softeners.

Wash cotton hat by hand in warm water. Use baking soda in water and soak up to 30 minutes. Rinse hat. Gently wring out cotton hat. Lay on towel for water absorption.
